At Sherpa! we often argue the merits of various web marketing tactics, particularly social media -- twitter, second life, facebook. Today we stumbled upon the Twitter and Twittervision Google Mash-up.
On the left side of the screen you saw the candidates and received real-time results of their % for each state. You could select between Republican and Democrats. Below this is an RSS feed of the top headlines and possibly even videos.
But the novel use of Twitter was how the map on the right hand would update with the twitter texts from across the country. While nothing grand displays (how grand can you make 162 characters?), it was "neat" to see real-time responses from people about Super Tuesday -- while in line at the polls or perhaps just after.
Will it make money? No. But it is an interesting, fun way to see how people are using technology to connect and talk.
