Many of our clients know that we are very much dog-people — our Atlanta headquarters never turns away a puppy-dog face. So it's with great honor that we share the news that SHERPA! Web Studios was recently ranked a "Top Dawg" on the Bulldog 100 list!
The Bulldog 100 annually awards the 100 fastest-growing businesses that are owned or operated by UGA alumni, regardless of size, by focusing on a three-year growth rate average. The class of 2013 list includes companies across 50 industries, including agriculture, aircraft parts manufacturing, insurance, robotics, healthcare, and industrial gases. Over 10 states were represented, with 88 of the businesses located in Georgia.
"[The ranking] is truly is a badge of good, quality, productive business. Peers see this is a business that knows what they are doing." - Stan Jackson, director of communications for the UGA Alumni Association
SHERPA!'s founder David Felfoldi — a 2001 UGA graduate and one of the list's 5 youngest entrepreneurs — relied heavily on UGA's most talented young professionals in the firm's incipient years. The first hires were all UGA graduates, with degrees including computer science, master of information technology, finance, and even psychology.
"UGA played an integral role in the firm's growth, in both talent pool and networking for business opportunities. Several of my classmates were also at the banquet — after 14 years it was great to see them and hear about their own entrepreneurial journeys." - David Felfoldi, SHERPA! Chief Experience Officer and founder
One of the few technology firms on the list, SHERPA! ranked 83 overall on a list with a 39% three-year growth rate average. The Top 10 experienced a whopping 111% growth rate average.
