The Sherpa! team recently released a big improvement to one our client's partner/reseller portals -- Lexicon Technologies.
According to the press release, the update allows Lexicon's partners to "powerfully, yet simply, manage all of the barcode scanner, printer, and enterprise mobility assets in use anywhere in their organization, via the Repair Engine™ online portal." This allows companies that have barcode repair needs to fully manage their entire inventory of barcode scanners in real-time. So a company like Whole Foods or Kroger can now manage their entire fleet of thousands of barcode scanners in one single online location. Powerful stuff.
For example, an industry-leading new feature is inventory history. Inventory administrators can pinpoint the exact location and status of any one of their barcode scanners, as well as keep a detailed repair history of each item. Lexicon's product development blog goes into this feature further.
